Monitor is change but showing old monitor model no in setting

Monitor is change but showing old monitor model no in setting

I have change my monitor from dell 17 inches to dell 24 inches. 

But still in window 10 64 bit is showing the 17 inch model model and i have gtx 550 ti.. current resolution is 1280*1024 this was also the old setting ... my card dont have more resolution.

Open device mgr. scroll to Monitor/expand the tree/R.click on the hardware/select Uninstall/exit device mgr/shutdown pc.Windows will install current monitor on restart.Also,dell has monitor driver/software @ dell.com

Hi, 

If computer can't recognize your new monitor, we should search Device Manage in Windows search bar, then uninstall the existing monitor driver in Device Manager and go to dell website to download a compatibility one to install.
