Programs Opening in Suspended State on WIN10

Question

Sunday, October 30, 2016 11:55 PM

I have been running Windows 10 for about a month now and everything has been fine until today. I am having programs open in Suspended state and I can not get them to change to running.  I have to reboot the computer then the programs will load properly. But the problem will return eventually.

TIA

Jim

Hello,

I found this thread that may help you on that: http://superuser.com/questions/958210/why-do-windows-10-foreground-apps-mysteriously-launch-as-background-processes

Hi Jim,

Restart computer is a normal method, have you try kill those programs’ processes in task manager and restart them?

In my opinion, firstly update system to the latest build 14393.351, then execute a clean boot to check state.

Besides, Microsoft has a tool which called Process Explorer has a suspend option. You can right click a process in the process column and select suspend. Once you are ready to resume it again right click and this time select resume.

Process Explorer can be obtained from here:
