There is no "Calendar" listed in my Developer Tab. When I try to insert a date using the controls for many of the items in this list, I find that I continue to get an error message informing me that it cannot be inserted. HELP! The main item I am concerned with is the Calendar control. I tried to go to microsoft site to download the activex control for calendar but permission was denied. I am totally ignorant when it come to the technical side of computers.Any help on this developer issue as it pertains to active x controls is appreciated.
Thanks
TooBZ

Hi TooBZ,
Based on your description, do you mean the Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control 6.0 (SP6) is not listed in your More Controls list? Would you please provide the detailed error message then we can help you better?
What's the version of your Excel? Please go to File > Account > About Excel to check if your Excel is 32-bit.
As far as I know, the official Microsoft's Date Picker control is now only available to 32-bit versions of Excel, but it will not work on Excel 64-bit.
If you arte using 32-bit version of Excel, you may refer to this link for instructions to register the control.
Please Note: Since the web site is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information.
Hope the above information can be helpful.
Best regards,
Yuki Sun

You are so right about the Microsoft Month Control. It is in my WoW64 folder but it does not work with the 64-bit system. Your suggestion for the downloaded date picker works fine.
Txs.
