Just as the title says, after a couple of days of working fine, new setup cant rename files.
I use Windows 10 NFS client, and it always give "invalid device" error. Tried restarting NAS several times, unsharing, afthe sharing again - no luck.
I mount the drive on my windows with command:
mount \192.168.1.99\main z:
Same problem with folders.
I can copy, delete, create no problem, just rename gives the error.

I know this is an old thread, but in case it was never solved or if anyone else runs into this issue, to resolve it we had to do what the linked reddit article above said, which was to enable the showmount option on the NetAPP vserver, as well as enable nfs-rootonly (which is strange because that was NOT one of the recommended steps by NetAPP, yet it worked for us.) If your NAS is not NetAPP, this may not help, but I thought it would be worth posting just in case this happened to help someone :)
If your NAS is NetAPP and you're trying to mount NFS on Windows, I highly recommend looking up the NetAPP document tr-4067 on google.
