Hi we have a client who runs Office 2013 and in Outlook if a picture image is imbedded in the body of the email (not as an attachment), each time they forward that email on to anyone the images get bigger in size. I was wonder if you can help find the cause and fix the issue?
We have tried the following:
1) SFC
2) System Restore
3) Office 2013 repair
4) New Outlook profile
5) OWA test (where the problem doesn't occur)
Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Thank you. Chandu Kerai

Hi,
In normal mode, unselect all the checkboxes for these add-ins, click OK, send test emails and check again, does the issue persist?
Another thing that is disabled in Safe Mode is NormalEmail.dotm. NormalEmail.dotm is the default template that opens when creating a new mail message. When you start Outlook in Safe Mode, it is not loaded.
Please go to the following location:
C:\Users\username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates
Find the NormalEmail.dotm file, rename it to ".old". Outlook then will create a new one, check if this issue persists with the new NormalEmail.dotm file.

Hi,
If possible, try to forward the email on other users' Outlook, check if this issue persists.
If the problem only occurs on a specific client, have the user start Outlook in Safe Mode to test:
Press Win + R, type "outlook.exe /safe" in the blank box, press Enter.
In Safe Mode, all add-ins will be disable and please check if the issue persists. If no, disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which one caused the issue.

Hi Melon,
We have tried in safe mode and noticed that the image does not get larger when sending a test email, however when disabling all add-ins in normal mode the problem still continues. Below are the current add-in in Safe Mode and Normal Mode. What else could we try?
Below are screen shots:

On both safe mode and normal mode:

This solution did not work for us. The box was already checked and the embedded photos are still too large to read when forwarded.
