Hi,
Some of my users uploaded some .xls files to OneDrive. I am trying to open them in the Excel web app in office 365 for editing, but it keeps downloading to my computer instead which is NOT what I need it to do.
Please advise how to change this setting?
Thank you.

Hi,
If you try an .xlsx file, I think it should work fine.
Based on my knowledge, it seems to be by design. We can open .xlsx files in Excel Online but not .xls.
