Hi,

You can configure your firewall to enable inbound connections to your server UDP/5353, and only allow the trusted network IPs/hosts that need to contact your mDNS service to access it.

You can do the following steps:

1.Navigate to Control Panel, System and Security and Windows Firewall

  1. Select Advanced settings and highlight Inbound Rules in the left panel

  2. Right click Inbound Rules and select New Rule

4 Add the port you need to open and click Next

  1. Add the protocol (TCP or UDP) and the port number into the next window and click Next.

Hope this can help you.

Have a nice day!

Ellen
