Question

Hi, on all our workstations which are freshly imaged with Windows 10 LTSB with minimal apps (office 2016 and VLC) we are getting the following errors.
CertificateServicesClient-CertEnroll
SCEP Certificate enrollment initialization for Domain\COMPUTERNAME$ via https://IFX-KeyId-9c7df5a91c3d49bbe7378d4aba12ff8e78a2d75c.microsoftaik.azure.net/templates/Aik/scep failed:
GetCACaps
Method: GET(5250ms)
Stage: GetCACaps
A connection with the server could not be established 0x80072efd (WinHttp: 12029 ERROR_WINHTTP_CANNOT_CONNECT)
I found some article here
Which also talks about the same problem, but I cannot seem to find a solution.
Has anyone else come across this ? or a way to stop the attempts being made for SCEP enrollment ?
What is the azure section of that error ? we use SCCM in our environment and zero interaction with azure or any kind of cloud services.
Thanks in advance !

Hi,
According to your error message, it seems that the network between client and Server.
Check if you can ping Server.

Hi im getting the same error after updating the latest windows 10 1903 today, this error is triggered by the task \Microsoft\Windows\CertificateServicesClient\AikCertEnrollTask and it happens to me because i use a firewall, to get rid of it you have to set a outgoing firewall rule for Windows\System32\taskhostw.exe because this module (ngctasks.dll) is loaded in the taskhost and the taskhost is connecting. enjoy
