I do a weekly backup of my computer. Recently I did a Repair of Office and now all of the items in my Jump Lists are gone. Is there a file or files that hold the pinned shortcuts? If not how do I get the pinned Jump Lists back?

Hi,
The application based jump lists are stored in the following location:
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations.
Pinned items are stored here:
%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinations\

Here is some help on pinning/unpinning and jump lists
1. Right-click or press and hold an App and there are a number of choices available, including: Unpin from Start, Pin to taskbar, Uninstall and Resize.
2. The Jump Lists items are located in the hidden folder AppData. Open a Run window (Windows Logo key+R), type %Appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations and press Enter. The items are stored as ".automaticDestinations-ms" files and can be viewed in Notepad. It's a bit garbled but you should be able to recognise some of the text to determine what they represent.
3. Typing shell:user pinned into a Run box will show C:\Users\Your User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned. Folders where items are pinned include ImplicitAppShortcuts, StartMenu and Taskbar.
