Creating sub-pages

Question

Friday, January 5, 2018 2:30 PM

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year!

Quick question which I hope someone will be able to answer for me..

I have created a SharePoint site.  On the Home page when I click on one of my 'Site Pages' it then takes me to that particular site page which I have added documents etc to.  I would like to be able to add a link to a sub site page from here if possible.  (apologies if I have the terminology wrong here).

So essentially what I am trying to do is have a site page named 'documentation'.  We would then click on that which takes us to the documentation site page.  I would then like a series of words on this page i.e. user documentation, test documentation, etc which the user can then click on and this will take them to all of the documentations for that particular topic.

Hope this makes sense. Thanks!

Hi the_haverer.

You simply have to create a SharePoint wiki page named Documentation and other wiki pages as well, having each other page named according to the argument the page is targeted to (e.g.: user documentation, test documentation); then you'll edit the Documentation (root) wiki page to inserti links pointing to each specific documentation page.
