Question

I was asked today how to change the color of the circle with the initials in it on Outlook. Someone saw a different color on one user and decided that they wanted the same corporate color on all users. See the picture below. Most everyone shows up as grey, except for this guy with the blue.
1. Is this even possible to set? All I found in out was the setting (File - Options - People tab - uncheck Show user photographs...) to turn it on and off
2. If it is possible, can it be done system-wide or is it a one off setting?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Matt,
I am afraid currently it is not feasible to change the color of the initial circles in Outlook.
From what I know, this feature is also available to other mail clients like OWA, Mail, etc. I found some threads in Outlook UserVoice forum about this and have voted for them. You may also vote for or add your comments to the threads there to submit your feedback:
The ability to pick your own colour of the initials in the user pic in outlook web app
Annoying colorful circles near the emails
Hope the above information can be helpful.

Why is it that initial/circle avatars in Outlook are black & white in some computers and colored in others across Office 365 users within the same company? What setting, if any, is controlling this change? Is it a feature available in a new Outlook build that has not tricked to all computers yet? Please clarify.
