Hello Friends,

Reg value is ok. I have one cached wallpaper in C:\Users\harnish.accuris\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\CachedFiles\CachedImage_1600_900_POS4. I am trying to delete this file but after deleted it re-generated automatically within second.

I have windows2k12 r2 domain.

Please help me to resolve the issue.

Hi,

First run the commands as administrator to check if system has an error:

       Sfc /scannow

       Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Then try the following steps to do a quick fix:

1. Press the magnifying glass to bring up the finder and type "ease of access"

2. Load the Ease of Access Center and choose the second option of the list "Make the computer easier to see"

3. Scroll all the way down to the last check box that says "Remove background images". Make sure it's unchecked.

4. Apply and Close the application

5. Try to add your wallpaper again. It should work.

Hope these are helpful.

It's not working. My system is in Domain and also we have set wallpaper Group Policy so user can't change wallpaper.

Hi,

Just as a confirmation, did this happened to all user accounts? I suggest you change to another user account to check.

If it only happened to your account, please refer the following link to repair user profile on Windows 10:
