Office 2016 Evaluation

Hello...........I cannot seem to find the evaluation download of Microsoft Office 2016 on the TechNet Evaluation Center? Would appreciate if someone could provide a link to it.

Hi,

There is no traditional version of Office 2016 in TechNet Center for Evaluation. You can sign in to download Office 365 ProPlus which also includes Office 2016:

Thanks for the reply.

1.  Are you suggesting that there is no 2016 version of Office and that it is called Office 365 ProPlus from now on?

2.  But, on Microsoft site, there are several comparisons of Microsoft Office 2016 and Office 365 ProPlus?

3.  Are you saying that I can use the same installer to installer either 2016 or ProPlus?

4.  Is evaluation tied to e-mail address for both?  Because when it expires after one-1 month, you cant seem to use it on other test systems? Do we need to create new e-mail everytime?

Hi,

For your first three questions:

Office 365 is a subscription service that includes the most recent version of  Office, which currently is Office 2016. It comes with the applications you’re familiar with, like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, plus extra online storage,  ongoing tech support at no extra cost, and more. 

So signing up for Office 365 ProPlus trial will also give you the ability to download and install Office 2016.

Office 2016 is also sold as a one-time purchase, which means you pay a single, up-front cost to get Office applications for one computer.

Regarding question 4, yes, you cannot registry Office 365 trial with the same email account for multiple times.
