Question

Hi,
We have multiple sites (6 sites on all different location on a single domain) and all are running Server 2012 R2 with Active Directory, DNS and local DHCP services.
I would like to restrict devices with MAC Address on all sites and only allow devices to connect to network with MAC Address listed (Allowed MAC Addresses). Also, I would need user(s) to be able to travel freely between different sites and can connect their devices to network.
How do I achieve this?
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
Mitesh Sudan

Hi Mitesh_Sudan,
Based on my understanding, you want to set up MAC address filter in your network.
As far as I know, windows firewall can only control access via IP address, we can not built MAC address filter via windows firewall. Some network devices may have this function, such as routers, switches, and hardware firewalls. You may consult your network device's vendor, check if the device can enable MAC address filter function.
Best Regards,
Anne
