You need to be using the full RDP client to connect to the VM.

And, you must have full audio redirection enabled in your RDP connection when you initialize the connection.

There are no virtual audio devices, RDP takes care of it all.

This is the client side RDP settings - the side that is connecting.

Hi  Ahmed_Hamed,

Please make sure that the audio device is available in  the computer which RDP the Win7 VM  .

And I also test Brain’s Recommendation "Record from this computer" , it works fine.

Hope this helps.

Hi Ahmed_Hamed,

Also i have tested your issue in my win7 environment .

Please try the following step , In your Win7 VM

Click Start > Run, type mmc, and click OK .

In the Group Policy Object Editor snapin, expand Local Computer Policy.
then expand Computer Configuration.

then expand Administrative Templates.

then expand Windows Components.

then expand Remote Desktop Services.

then expand Remote Desktop Session Host.

In Device and Resource redirection, enable Allow Audio Recording Redirection.

Restart the virtual machine.

Please try to RDP the VM again.

Hope this helps.

Best Regards

i need to ask why i didn't find sound driver in computer management "device manager"?

because this is a built in software device provided by RDP, it is not a 'hardware' device.

the key to the whole thing is the audio device remoting setting (on both sides).

not exactly like, but similar to: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd759231.aspx
