When I am accessing command prompt in windows recovery mode (pre-installation mode) it ask to enter the password.
I am providing correct password (Microsoft account password) still getting warning as incorrect password.

Are you facing this issue when you boot into Windows normally? (not recovery mode).

I am having the exact same issue. My Microsoft account password is correct when I enter it but it still tells me it's 'incorrect password'. I've done everything short of running the boot disk to zero out the password. Why is this error still a thing and why hasn't Microsoft been able to fix this problem?
Yes, my Microsoft password works normally when NOT in recovery mode. It ONLY errors out in recovery mode.
I tried creating a local Admin account to use during recovery mode but it wont show up; and yes the local account is labeled and built as a local administrator account.
