Problem adding user with Company Account

I have set up many Wind0ws 10 Pro laptops for my users for Personal use for various reasons. When I created user accounts I have used local ones. I have just started to use our Microsoft 365 accounts and have encountered a problem.

On PC1 I created an account named NB@<our domain> with no problem. The user was able to login eventually.

On PC2 I created an account named PF@<our domain> with no problem.

On PC3 I tried to create an account name D-B@<our domain> but received the message "It looks like this isn't a Microsoft account...".

I tried to add the third account above (D-B) to other PCs, but got the same message.

Any suggestions as to why I get this message and how to get around it would be welcome.

Thanks,

Dave

@CARC IT Thanks for posting in our Q&A. For this issue, it is not related to windows 365. Windows 365 is a cloud-based service that automatically creates a new type of Windows virtual machine (Cloud PCs) for your end users. It seems more related to windows 10 and Microsoft 365. Given this situation, I will add windows 10 tag. Let's wait for someone involved in this issue.

At the same time, it is suggested to post in Microsoft Tech Community and add Microsoft 365 tag. Here is the link:
    https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/

Thanks for your understanding and hope everything goes well with you.

I have the same experience. Can add a Microsoft 365 account only if it is a Global Admin on the Microsoft 365 subscription. I can't find any documentation regarding this.

Have you managed to resolve your problem?
