Our developers are getting the following on Visual Studio 2022 installs: "Operating system not supported."
I saw this on another post and am wondering what the features are that won't work as expected. We are running Windows 10 Enterprise OS Build 17763, 1935. Upgrading all of our developers operating systems is not a trivial task.
“Showing error: Operating system not supported
We haven’t designed this version of Visual Studio to work with this operating system. You can still install it, but some features might not work as expected. For the best experience, we recommend that you upgrade to a supported operating system.”, it is better to upgrade to a new build of the server and install the VS 2022, thanks for your cooperation.
The Visual Studio 2022 Preview did not have this error message.

In case you install the latest build of the Windows 10 , does it solved the problem?
I am asking this to check if upgrade is solving the issue?
I'm not trying to solve a specific problem, I'm asking what problems I might run into with "features that won't work as expected" in Visual Studio 2022 if installed on Windows 10 Enterprise OS Build 17763, 1935.

"Windows 10, versions 1607 through 1903
There are no known issues or workarounds on these versions of Windows 10."
fyi: 17763 was Version 1809.
unless you are using the Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019, the OS itself is no longer supported:

There is no document about these specific features which you are asking.
Normally you shouldn't face any issue with your current projects.

My organization is on LTSC and still getting the error.

For me... 17763 LTSC (also known as version 1809, but longer-lived)
It says that ".NET 4.8.1 isn't supported and doesn't install."
