Hi, I have a Windows 11 machine which has RDP enabled and I've shown that it will allow connections for local user accounts. However, I log into my workstation with my gmail account and a PIN code. This doesn't work with RDP, I can't use my gmail account as the username and neither my gmail password nor PIN will allow me to connect. How do I connect with my regular login, I need to do this because all of my network drives, software, etc. are configured for this account, not for any of the local accounts.

Thanks!

Try using the pcname\user where user is the local account the gmail is linked to.

Found it, I forgot to check c:\users. Once I did that and used my gmail password I was able to log in. Thanks!

    My solution was:

    1. disable PIN authentication
    2. once login to WIN11 with password for *@gmail.com
    3. enable PIN authentication
    4. enjoy RDP :-)
