Azure for Students renewal credited, but subscription remains Starter

So,
I renewed my Azure student benefit and can now see credits in my account. However, my Azure portal still shows only one subscription: Azure for Students Starter.

When I try to create a virtual machine, Azure reports that my subscription is not allowed to register Microsoft.Compute, Microsoft.Storage, and Microsoft.Network.

I am a higher-education student and previously used Azure virtual machines. Please verify my student offer renewal and help provision or restore the correct Azure for Students subscription that supports virtual machines.

I do not want to convert to Pay-As-You-Go or add a payment method just to resolve this subscription entitlement issue.

Did you get a confirmation email telling you that you have successfully registered for the Azure Students Subscription?

Have you signed up for the subscription using your school email address or your personal Microsoft account?

When did you sign-up for the Azure Students subscription?

With regards to the Azure for Students Starter, this subscription is offered when people upgrade their Azure Students Subscription to the students starter. It is a subscription that is there for life, and doesn't expire. I have an Azure for Students Starter subscription alongside an Azure Students subscription.

Do you see other subscriptions listed on the subscriptions table at the bottom of the page?

Confirmation email: I checked my inbox and could not find a separate confirmation email confirming successful registration for the regular Azure for Students subscription. The renewal page indicated that my student benefit had been renewed.

Account used: I signed in using my personal email and verified my student status using my college email

Signup date: I originally signed up last year and recently renewed my student benefit for the next academic year.

Other subscriptions: I checked the Azure Subscriptions page, and only Azure for Students Starter appears. Its status is Active. I cannot find a separate Azure for Students subscription.

I can now see student credits in my account, but I cannot create a virtual machine because Azure reports that my subscription is not allowed to register Microsoft.Compute, Microsoft.Storage, and Microsoft.Network.

Could you please help me determine whether my regular Azure for Students subscription was successfully provisioned during renewal, and how I can resolve this without upgrading to Pay-As-You-Go?
