Azure for Students — Unsupported account type

Hello Microsoft Support,

I am a student at FSEGS, University of Sfax, Tunisia. I am trying to activate Azure for Students for the first time using my university email address.

I receive the error “Your current account type is not supported.”

According to Microsoft's troubleshooting documentation, this may be related to an unmanaged Microsoft Entra directory. Could you please help me identify the cause and advise me on the correct way to activate my student subscription?

    So I can try and help you, please can you answer the following questions:

    1. Do you know if your university uses Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Exchange?
    2. Are you able to sign into your account management settings here: https://myaccount.microsoft.com/?ref=MeControl?
    3. Are you able to sign-up for the Azure Students subscription with your personal Microsoft account?
