Unable to manage Azure / Power Platform setup, repeated account loops, request for complete billing and tenant cleanup

Hello,

I signed up for Azure while trying to use Copilot Agents and Power Platform.

What should have been a simple setup turned into several hours of troubleshooting and repeated loops between Azure, Power Platform, billing, tenants, directories, and account sign-in screens.

Throughout the process I repeatedly encountered situations where:

  • Azure appeared to create subscriptions, credits, tenants, or billing relationships.
  • Different Microsoft services appeared to disagree about which account or tenant should be used.
  • Billing information was reported as unavailable.
  • Billing policies could not be created.
  • Dataverse could not be provisioned.
  • Sign-in flows repeatedly redirected me between different accounts and tenants.
  • Error messages indicated tenant/account mismatches.

At this point I no longer wish to continue the Azure, Power Platform, Dataverse, or Copilot Agents setup.

My goal is no longer troubleshooting. My goal is complete cleanup.

I would like Microsoft to advise how I can:

  1. Identify anything that was created during this setup process.
  2. Cancel or remove any Azure subscriptions, trials, tenants, billing relationships, Power Platform environments, or Dataverse resources associated with this setup.
  3. Remove any payment details associated with Azure or Power Platform.
  4. Obtain written confirmation that no Azure or Power Platform charges can be generated in the future as a result of this setup.

I have spent several hours trying to resolve this myself and have repeatedly been sent around in circles between different Microsoft services and sign-in systems. I would greatly appreciate a clear path to completely remove everything and close the matter.

Thank you.

    Hi YK,

I understand your concern. Since your goal is complete account and billing cleanup, I recommend the following steps:

Sign in to the Azure Portal, switch between available directories, and check Cost Management + Billing > Subscriptions to identify and cancel any active subscriptions.

Open the Power Platform Admin Center and review all environments, Dataverse resources, and active trials. Delete any resources you no longer need.

Review payment methods and outstanding charges in the relevant billing accounts before requesting payment method removal.

Contact Azure Billing Support through Azure Portal > Help + Support > Create a support request. Request a complete billing review and written confirmation of subscription cancellation.

For Power Platform subscriptions and tenant cleanup, you may also need Microsoft 365 or Power Platform billing support.

Please note that deleting a tenant alone does not automatically cancel subscriptions or outstanding charges. Microsoft Support must verify the account-specific billing status.

Thank you, and feel free to respond back for more assistance.
