Hi BETTY BARTON
Since the issue occurs on both your Mac and iPhone, it may be helpful to first check whether new messages are visible when signing in to Outlook on the webusing the affected Exchange account.
If new emails are visible in Outlook on the web, it would indicate that the mailbox is receiving messages successfully and that the issue may be related to client synchronization on the affected devices rather than the Exchange mailbox itself. In that case, please let me know:
- Are you using Outlook for Mac, Apple Mail, or both?
- Does the issue affect all folders or only the Inbox?
- Have there been any recent password, MFA, or account-security changes?
- Are you seeing any sync errors or authentication prompts on either device?
If new emails are not appearing there either, please let me know:
- Are other users receiving your emails when you send messages?
- Can other users send emails to you successfully?
- Do senders receive any non-delivery report (NDR) or bounce-back message?
- Is the mailbox near or over its storage quota?
- Were there any recent changes to the mailbox, license, email forwarding rules, or mail flow settings?
I hope this information helps, and I look forward to your response.
