The problem with exercises in training

Hello, I've been doing a training with Azure AI for a few days now. Unfortunately, I have a problem with the practical part in Microsoft foundry and creating a New Project. I receive information:

You don't have permission to create resources in any subscription. Ask your administrator to assign you the required role on a subscription.

What should I do?

    Hi @Aleksandra Stachowiak

That message means the account you're signed in with doesn't have a role on any Azure subscription that allows creating resources. The Microsoft Learn exercises don't come with their own subscription (unless the exercise launches a sandbox for you), so you need one where you're allowed to create things. To create a Foundry resource or project, you need Owner or Contributor (or one of the Foundry owner roles).

Which fix applies depends on the account you're using:

    1. Work or school account: your organization's subscriptions are controlled by your IT team. Ask them to give you Contributor on a subscription or resource group set aside for learning.
    2. Personal account, or your company won't allow it: sign up for your own Azure free account with a personal Microsoft account. You'll be the Owner of that subscription, so the error goes away. Just delete the resources after each lab so you don't use up credit.
    3. Once you have access, go back into the Foundry portal, sign in with that account, and pick the right subscription when creating the project. If you have more than one directory, switch to it from your profile icon first.

Are you doing the exercises with a work account or a personal one?

If this resolved your issue, please consider accepting it as the answer. If you still see the same message after getting access, let me know and I'll be happy to keep helping.
