Stuck in old Microsoft 365 family group, residual backend binding

My Microsoft account has lingering backend binding tied to an old Microsoft 365 family license. I’ve already tried changing my birthday and all self-service operations, but the family page remains stuck and I cannot leave the family group. This is residual backend data and cannot be fixed through regular member removal. Please escalate my ticket to the backend team to fully clear this leftover family group association for my account

    Hi @z z

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum

I’m sorry you have been stuck with this. Since you have already exhausted the normal family-page options, repeating them is unlikely to help.

Before anything else, please delete or redact the attached image, because it exposes personal contact information.

The removal must be performed through the family group by an organizer. If the option is unavailable or the association cannot be removed normally, contact Microsoft Support for further assistance

Describe the issue as:“My personal Microsoft account is still associated with an old family group, and the Leave/Remove option is unavailable or fails.” Include previous case details if you already contacted support, but do not post account information publicly.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors cannot access accounts or Microsoft’s back-end systems. We can only provide technical guidance on reported incidents, requests and ideas

    Thank you for your understanding
