email - hotmail changed language

Someone hacked my email account and the language has changed to Vietnamese - gone into settings but obviously can't recognise anything - how can I fix the problem?

    Hi,

    May I ask if these happen to all of the MS apps and Outlook apps (including web) or only in specific apps?
    If only specific apps, which apps are affected?

    For Outlook, go to Outlook.com in a browser. Try to follow these: Cài đặt > Chung > Ngôn ngữ và thời gian > Ngôn ngữ > Tiếng Anh >Lưu
    In English: Settings > General > Language and time > Language > English > Save

    If the account was hacked, secure it first, then change the language back.

    1. Run a full malware scan on the PC or phone used to access the account before changing the password.
      • In Windows Security: Virus and threat protection > Scan options > Full scan > Scan now.
    2. Recover and secure the Microsoft account.
      • Use the Microsoft account sign-in helper: Start
