Hi,
It is not clear, I am afraid, whether you are seeking help for New Outlook or Classic Outlook.
Classic Outlook
In Classic Outlook for Microsoft 365, to add a word to the dictionary:
- Open a new email and type the word.
- Right-click the word that is underlined in red.
- Select Add to Dictionary.
If you want to manage the custom dictionary:
- Go to File > Options > Mail > Spelling and AutoCorrect.
- Select Proofing > Custom Dictionaries.
- Select CUSTOM.DIC and click Edit Word List to add or remove words manually.
New Outlook
In New Outlook, when a word is flagged as misspelled, right-click it and select Add to dictionary. This adds the word to your custom dictionary. There is no equivalent of Custom Dictionary addition, although.
I hope this information helps. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out. Wishing you good luck!
