Microsoft Teams App Not Working on Android – Chats Not Loading

I am facing an issue with the Microsoft Teams app on my Android phone. After logging in, my chats/messages do not load, and I am automatically logged out after some time.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Restarting the phone
  • Clearing the Teams app data and cache
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling the Teams app

However, the issue still persists.

I have attached screenshots for reference. Could you please look into this issue and help me resolve it?

  • Phone Model: OnePlus Nord 4
  • OS: OxygenOS 16.0.5
  • Processor: Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen
  • Storage: 175 GB / 256 GB

    This was fixed with the following steps:

    1. Settings → Passwords & Accounts

    Remove your Microsoft Work/School account

    Restart the phone

    Add the account again

    Sign in to Teams

    Since the issue persists after clearing the Teams app data and cache and reinstalling the app, could you please try the following?

    1.Could you try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data and check whether the issue still occurs?

    2.Could you try signing in to Teams using the same account on another device and check whether your chats load normally?

    3.Is Battery Optimization or Power Saving enabled for Microsoft Teams on your device?

    4.What version of the Microsoft Teams app is currently installed on your phone?

    5.Does the issue also occur when you sign in to Teams on the web using the same account?
