I was connected to support over an issue I was having and got disconnected.

Hi, @Glenn Walker
Did you receive an email for this case, and does it show the case as active or closed?
The chat should normally still be available through an email sent by Microsoft Support. Please check your inbox and spam folder for any email containing case number.
Open the email and check whether the case is still active. If it is, use the link or reply option provided in that email to reconnect with Support.
If the case has already been closed, you will need to open a new support request here: https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact
Or via Get Help app here: https://support.microsoft.com/windows/about-get-help-717c7ae9-5c45-45f0-b637-900b7437a395
Sign in using the same Microsoft account and give the new agent your previous case number so they can review it.
If you ever find yourself stuck in a loop, please use the keywords "Contact Support" or "Live Chat" (without the quotes) and click "Contact Support" at the bottom.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
You were speaking with an outside contractor hired by Microsoft. Microsoft doesn't provide one-on-one support to customers. Neither we nor Microsoft can reconnect you with your contractor. You'll have to start a new session and ask whomever you reach to try to look for the ticket number you have. You would have done better to hire a local professional for detailed help.
