You might want to consider Edge as the primary browser - it's integrated into Windows 11 and you cannot simply uninstall it like you can Chrome, Firefox, or DuckDuckGo. Even if you use another browser as your default, Windows may still use Edge for certain system components. It works well with Microsoft 365, OneDrive, Microsoft accounts, Windows security features, and other Microsoft services, and is based on Chromium, so website and extension compatibility is quite good.

Google Chrome is worth keeping if you regularly use Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, YouTube, or other Google services. It is also Chromium-based, like Edge, so there is generally very good website compatibility. If you do not use Google services much, however, you could remove Chrome and use Edge exclusively.

Firefox is a decent browser, but it is not necessary to have it installed just for general web browsing. Its main advantage here is that it uses the Firefox browser engine rather than Chromium. If you like Firefox's privacy features or want a non-Chromium alternative, keep it. Otherwise, it is reasonable to uninstall it.

DuckDuckGo Browser is the one I would be most inclined to remove. If you specifically like DuckDuckGo's privacy-oriented browsing experience, consider keeping it.

For general Windows 11 use, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome are supported modern choices.

If the goal is to keep only the most broadly supported browsers for Microsoft services:

    1. Keep Microsoft Edge
      • Recommended across Microsoft services in the provided guidance.
      • Outlook on the web supports Edge on Windows 11.
      • Microsoft Forms is optimized for Edge.
      • Dynamics 365 Lifecycle Services recommends Edge, especially the latest version.
    2. Keep Firefox or Chrome as a secondary browser
      • Outlook on the web supports both on Windows 11.
      • Forms is optimized for the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox.
      • If a site behaves differently in one browser, having one backup browser is useful.
    3. About DuckDuckGo
      • The provided information does not list DuckDuckGo as a supported browser.
      • If this refers to the DuckDuckGo browser, there is no support guidance for it here.

    A practical setup is:

    • Best single browser to keep: Microsoft Edge
    • Best two-browser setup: Microsoft Edge + Firefox or Microsoft Edge + Chrome
    • If reducing clutter: delete whichever duplicate backup browser is used least between Firefox and Chrome

Also keep browsers updated. Older browsers can show errors or lose support for Microsoft web apps.
