Hello, good day and thanks for your question. Sorry to know about this. If your card is up to date and you have also verified that it is working for other purchase that you made online, please check and try this on a different browser or by using inPrivate or Incognito browsing and another alternative is to link your card to PayPal and use it as payment method. Please see below for other things that you can also check with regards to this issue.

    • Enter your name precisely as it appears on the card and only include your middle initial if it appears on your card.
    • If this is a company card, enter the company name as both a first name and last name. For example, if the company name is "My Company" you may split the company name into the first and last name fields.
    • If the company only has one name, for example, "Company," enter the company name in both the first and last name fields.
    • If you are asked to enter the address and it exceeds the Address 1 field, use the Address 2 field and do not shorten or abbreviate your address.
    • The card number and type cannot be edited, so if you make a mistake, you'll need to add a new one with the correct information. Other credit card information can be edited, such as billing address and expiration date.
    • Other factors such as, card issuer fraud block, 3-D Secure/online payment restriction, family-card name mismatch, temporary authorization hold, or regional/payment-method limitations can also affect this.

If you will still encounter an issue even after trying out the alternatives, you can reach out to the support team at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/ and then click on Windows and then click Get Home Support and then type in Billing question and click the blue button that says Sign in to contact Support and login and proceed from there.

Since multiple cards were already tried and Microsoft Store was already reset with wsreset.exe, use this path next:

    1. Make sure Microsoft Store is fully updated
      • Open Microsoft Store.
      • Go to Library.
      • Select Get updates.
      • If Windows was recently updated, restart the PC before trying again.
    2. Try redeeming outside the Store app
    3. Check the payment method requirements
      • For Microsoft Store buying issues, verify:
        • the card is current on the Payment options page,
        • there are no subscription payments overdue on the Services page,
        • the Microsoft account is not temporarily suspended.
    4. If the offer is device-attached, verify the entitlement location
      • Open Microsoft Store > Library > Included with device and confirm the Game Pass offer is still listed.
      • Also check the Microsoft Services & subscriptions page to see whether it was already redeemed.
    5. If the Store app still shows “Something happened on our end”
      • Use Contact Support from Microsoft Support for technical help.
      • If the offer disappears from Included with device, contact the device manufacturer support, because OEM promotional Game Pass offers are often tied to the device.
