If Google Play appears in Windows Installed apps / Programs, try these Windows steps first:
- Restart the PC
Go to Start > Power > Restart. - Try uninstalling from Settings
Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
Select Google Play, then choose Uninstall. - If Advanced options is available, try Repair or Reset first
Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
Select Google Play > Advanced options > Repair.
If that does not help, select Reset. - Run the Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter
This can fix issues such as corrupted registry keys, incomplete uninstall data, or problems that block uninstalling through Programs and Features. - If the app is suspicious or unwanted software, run a Windows Security scan first
Remove the app only after threats are cleaned.
If Uninstall is missing or blocked, the troubleshooter is the main supported next step for desktop programs.
