    1

Try uninstalling Google Play from the Settings App - Apps Installed Apps.

    2

If that is not successful, open the old Control Panel, set view to large icons and then open the Programs and Features applet, and try uninstalling the Google Play app from there.

    3

If that is also unsuccessful, downlaod the widely available version of Revo Uninstaller and try uninstalling the app using that utility.

If Google Play appears in Windows Installed apps / Programs, try these Windows steps first:

    1. Restart the PC
Go to Start > Power > Restart.
    2. Try uninstalling from Settings
Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
Select Google Play, then choose Uninstall.
    3. If Advanced options is available, try Repair or Reset first
Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
Select Google Play > Advanced options > Repair.
If that does not help, select Reset.
    4. Run the Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter
This can fix issues such as corrupted registry keys, incomplete uninstall data, or problems that block uninstalling through Programs and Features.
    5. If the app is suspicious or unwanted software, run a Windows Security scan first
Remove the app only after threats are cleaned.

If Uninstall is missing or blocked, the troubleshooter is the main supported next step for desktop programs.
