It's possible this was a temporary mail delivery issue. If this is the first time it has happened, I would suggest asking the sender to try sending the Teams meeting invitation again after a few hours and see if the issue persists.
If the invitation continues to fail, could you ask the sender to share the full non-delivery report (NDR), including any error code and diagnostic information? The NDR will help identify whether the message is being rejected by the sender's email service, the recipient's email service, or somewhere in between.
It would also be helpful to confirm:
- Whether you can still receive regular emails from other senders.
- Whether your employer can send a normal email successfully, or if only Teams meeting invitations are affected.
- Whether you've checked your Junk Email and Deleted Items folders.
These details will help narrow down the cause of the issue.
