Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
In Outlook for Windows, Trust Center is in the classic Outlook app, not in Windows 11 itself.
To find it in classic Outlook:
- Open Outlook.
- Select File.
- Select Options.
- Select Trust Center.
- Select Trust Center Settings.
If the issue is pictures not loading in email, the relevant setting is:
- Go to File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings.
- Clear Don't download pictures automatically in HTML e-mail messages or RSS items.
For a single email from a trusted sender:
- Select the InfoBar at the top of the message, then select Download Pictures.
If the message is an S/MIME encrypted or signed email, Outlook blocks external content by default. To allow it:
- Go to File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Automatic Downloads.
- Uncheck Don't download pictures in encrypted or signed HTML email messages.
If the sender is trusted, blocked images can also be allowed for that sender or domain by right-clicking a blocked item in an open message and adding the sender or domain to the Safe Senders List.
If the tag refers to new Outlook for Windows, the provided material does not include a Trust Center path for that app.
