Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi Hu Fin,
I'm sorry to hear that your older calendar entries are no longer visible. If the appointments are not appearing before March 2026, one additional thing to check is whether you're viewing the correct calendar data source.
Please try these quick checks:
1, Verify the account and calendar selected
- In Outlook, expand My Calendars.
- Ensure the expected calendar is checked and selected.
- If you have multiple email accounts configured, switch between them and check whether the missing appointments appear under a different calendar.
2, Compare with Outlook on the web
- Sign in to Outlook on the web using the same account.
- Review the Calendar there and see whether the older events are present.
- This can help determine whether the issue is limited to the Outlook desktop client or affects the mailbox itself.
3, Create a new Outlook profile
- Close Outlook.
- Open Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles.
- Create a new profile and add your account.
- Open Outlook with the new profile and check the calendar again.
If the events are visible in Outlook on the web but not in the desktop application, the issue may be related to the local Outlook profile or cached data. If the events are missing everywhere, your email provider or administrator may be able to review mailbox retention or recovery options.
I hope one of these checks helps locate the missing calendar items. Let me know if you need further assistance, feel free to ask me by clicking "Add Comment" or "Add Answer" if you cannot add comment so your response will be visible. Thanks for your effort.
