    Hi Martin Stolarčík,

Since your Bluetooth headphones connect normally, it suggests the Bluetooth adapter is working, but there may be an issue specific to how the controllers are pairing with Windows.

One thing worth checking is whether the controllers have any existing Bluetooth pairings stored from another device (console, phone, or another PC). If they do, try removing those pairings first and then place the controller into pairing mode again before connecting it to your PC.

You can also try these quick checks:

    1. Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
    2. Remove the controller if it already appears in the device list.
    3. Turn Bluetooth off, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.
    4. Put the controller into pairing mode and try adding it again through Add device > Bluetooth.

If the issue continues, could you provide:

    • Your PC or motherboard model
    • The Bluetooth adapter shown under Device Manager > Bluetooth
    • Whether the controllers can successfully pair with a phone or another computer

That information can help determine whether this is related to the controller, the Bluetooth adapter, or a compatibility issue between the two. Hope this helps point us in the right direction, and I look forward to your update.

Since Bluetooth headphones work, the Bluetooth radio is present and working at least partially. For pairing failures with controllers, the most useful next steps are to refresh the Bluetooth stack and install the hardware-specific driver from the PC manufacturer instead of relying only on the current driver.

    1. Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter.
      • In Windows 11, go to Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
      • Next to Bluetooth, select Run.
    2. Check for driver updates in Device Manager.
      • Open Device Manager.
      • Expand Bluetooth.
      • Right-click the Bluetooth adapter and select Update driver.
      • Select Search automatically for drivers.
      • Restart the PC after the update.
    3. If Windows says the best driver is already installed, install the latest Bluetooth driver from the PC manufacturer.
      • Go to the PC manufacturer’s support website.
      • Search by the exact PC model.
      • Download and install the latest Bluetooth driver for Windows 11.
      • Restart the PC.
    4. If the problem continues, reinstall the Bluetooth adapter.
      • Open Device Manager.
      • Expand Bluetooth.
      • Right-click the Bluetooth adapter and select Uninstall device.
      • Restart or shut down and turn the PC back on.
      • Windows should reinstall the driver automatically.
      • If it does not, open Device Manager and select Action > Scan for hardware changes.
    5. If the manufacturer driver was downloaded as separate files instead of an installer:
      • In Device Manager, right-click the Bluetooth adapter.
      • Select Update driver > Browse my computer for drivers.
      • Browse to the folder containing the downloaded driver files.
      • Select Next and complete the installation.
      • Restart the PC.

    Important:

    • An outdated or incompatible Bluetooth driver is one of the most common causes of Bluetooth connection problems.
    • The manufacturer’s driver is often more reliable than a generic driver from Windows Update for pairing issues like repeated failure with specific devices.
