Hello,

I recently created a new Microsoft account, but I have not received the welcome email.

I have checked my inbox, spam/junk folder, and other filtered folders, but I still cannot find the email.

Is there an issue with those emails at the moment?

    Hi @Becki Owens

I understand your concern about not receiving the welcome email. Please note that a welcome email is not required to use your new Microsoft account, so if you can sign in successfully, the account should be ready to use.

If you are referring to the verification email, please sign in to your Microsoft account, open Manage how you sign in, select Verify next to the email address, and then select Send email. Also, check that the address was entered correctly and that messages from @accountprotection.microsoft.com are not being blocked.

If the address already appears as verified, no further action is required. If verification is still pending and the email does not arrive after resending it, please contact Microsoft Support for further assistance.
