Looks to be a reported Service Health issue. Shows as Restored.

Users received a "GetSections returned no conversation history" error message.

    Sep 8 2026 12:28 PM CDT (17:28)

We reverted a recent service update that was intended to improve chat-loading functionality when accessing m365.cloud.microsoft and confirmed through service telemetry that the error rates have subsided and service is restored.

    Hi Dom,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Could you try signing in to Outlook on the web with the same business account and check whether your inbox opens? If your inbox won’t open, do you see the same error message there?

Also, can you still read your mail afterward, or does the message stop you from opening your inbox? If possible, could you provide a screenshot of the error so that I can better understand the issue especially the "Show debug details" section?
