Can't save Excel files on MacBook

I bought Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021 several years ago. All of a sudden all programs except Word tell me that the license is not activated in the About tab. I can't save my Excel files, the Save Button is greyed out. Please advise what's going on/how do I get my programs to work properly again. Thank you.
