When opening my mail (Outlook/Hotmail), the righthand scroll bar keeps disappearing. I try to moved the screen to the left, but it does not work. How can I adjust my settings to ensure I always have a RH scroll bar?

For Outlook/Hotmail on Windows, the supported setting is to make Windows keep scroll bars visible:

    1. Open Start > Settings.
    2. Go to Ease of Access > Display.
    3. Turn Automatically hide scroll bars in Windows to Off.

If the scroll bar is still missing in Outlook, restore the app window:

    1. Right-click the Outlook title bar.
    2. Select Maximize.
    3. Right-click the title bar again.
    4. Select Restore.

If the issue is specifically in Outlook 2016 and the view jumps or scrolling behaves incorrectly, Microsoft lists it as a known issue that was fixed in certain builds. For Current Channel, a registry-based workaround exists. Warning: editing the registry can cause system problems if done incorrectly.
