    Hi @George Somerville

Could you confirm which type of email address you are trying to add: Gmail, Outlook.com/Hotmail, a work or school account, or another provider?

If it is a Gmail address, Outlook must redirect you to Google because Google authenticates that account. This sign-in step cannot be bypassed. If you are adding an Outlook.com, Hotmail, Microsoft 365, or Exchange account and Outlook suggests an existing Google account, select Skip and manually enter the email address you want to use.

If a Microsoft email address is still being redirected to Google, please let us know the email domain only, such as @outlook.com, and where the Google sign-in page appears.

You can also refer to Set up the Outlook app for iOS.
