Using New Outlook on Windows for professional communication and productivity
Hello Juland,
From your description, I would like to better understand the situation.
Could you please confirm whether you are trying to change your password but are not receiving the verification or confirmation email needed to complete the process?
If so, please share more details about the exact step where the issue occurs. A screenshot of the error message or the page you are seeing (with any personal information removed) would also be helpful.
In addition, could you clarify whether:
- You still know your current password and can sign in successfully, but are simply trying to change it to a new one.
- Or you can no longer sign in and need to reset your password because you do not have access to the current one.
While checking this issue, please also review your Junk Email, Spam, Quarantine folders, as well as any inbox rules or mail filtering policies that may be preventing these emails from being delivered.
Finally, could you confirm whether this account was provided and managed by your organization or school?
If it is an organizational account, I recommend contacting your IT administrator, as they can review the account configuration and, if necessary, assist with resetting the password through the Microsoft Entra admin center.Manage user authentication methods for Microsoft Entra multi-factor authentication
- Sign in to Microsoft Entra - Microsoft Entra admin center
- User -> all users. Select the user you want to act on, and then select "Authentication methods". then select "Reset Password".
I hope I've been able to help in some way. Please keep me posted
