Teams Webinar - Green Room Issue

A Teams Webinar has been set up. Green room is enabled along with Manage what attendees see. Those attending the Webinar can see the Green Room and people in it. Rest of Webinar is set correctly.

To help scope this down, could you provide a bit more information?

Does this happen for all webinars or only this specific webinar?
Have you tested this with a newly created webinar to see if the behavior is the same?
Could you also share a screenshot of the Meeting access settings configured for this webinar (found under the webinar meeting options)?
Specifically, are your settings configured similarly to the example below, where "Who can bypass the lobby?" is set to "Only organizers and co-organizers" and the options for dial-in users and registered attendees bypassing the lobby are turned off?

Sorry for asking a lot of questions, but these details will help determine whether this is related to the webinar configuration, attendee permissions, or a specific event setup.

HI and thanks for the reply. The issue is that attendees (all) can see people in the Green Room, it's happening on all Webinars. They are set up correctly. We tried running the meeting as a Teams Town Hall which worked as expected, so the issue is only related to Webinar. The settings are...

After reviewing the settings you shared, they appear to be configured correctly. I also attempted to reproduce the behavior in my own testing environment using similar webinar settings, but I was not able to reproduce the issue where attendees could see the Green Room and its participants.

Since this is occurring across multiple webinars in your tenant and you've already confirmed that the equivalent Town Hall configuration behaves as expected, I would recommend engaging Microsoft Support for further investigation.

A Microsoft support engineer can review backend configurations, perform advanced diagnostics, and collect any necessary logs to determine whether there is a service-side issue affecting your environment. Because this will likely require access to information that is not available through the community forum, opening a support case is the most effective next step.

The Global Administrator can create a support request by following the guidance in Get support - Microsoft 365 admin.

If you're unsure who the Global Administrator is within your organization, please refer to How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin?.

As a community user, I don't have access to internal service logs, backend diagnostics, or engineering tools. If this behavior is related to a service-side issue, only Microsoft's support and engineering teams can fully investigate it.
