Additional features, settings, or issues not covered by specific Microsoft Teams categories
To cancel a Teams Premium subscription, first identify where it was purchased and which account manages it.
- Go to Subscriptions and sign in with the same Microsoft account used for the purchase.
- Find the subscription:
- If Manage, Cancel, or Change payment appears, it is billed by Microsoft.
- If those options are missing, it may be managed by a third party.
- If it is billed by Microsoft:
- Select Manage.
- Select Cancel or Upgrade or Cancel.
- Follow the prompts to complete cancellation.
- If Turn on recurring billing appears instead of Manage or Cancel, the subscription is already set to expire on the shown date and no further charges will occur.
For Mac and iPhone purchases made through Apple, the subscription must be managed in Apple ID settings. Microsoft cannot process cancellations or refunds for subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store.
If the cancel option does not appear:
- Confirm the correct Microsoft personal account is being used.
- Check whether the subscription was bought from Apple, Google Play, or another retailer.
- Check whether there is an overdue balance, because cancellation is blocked until any amount owed is paid.
- If needed, use Microsoft guided support or Contact Support.
