Reinstalling Windows 11 and Recovering Missing Internal Drive

Hi, I need assistance with reinstalling Windows 11 on my HP desktop. My uncle (who is in IT) and I tried to do a fresh installation using a bootable USB created with Rufus. However, during the setup process, the installer completely fails to recognize or detect the internal storage drive, even though the hardware passed internal diagnostics. If possible, I would love to have all my files saved and kept intact during this process. We are stuck because the system won't detect any drive to install the operating system onto. Could you help guide us on how to get the installer to recognize the storage drive while keeping my data safe?

    On the Windows 11 installation, where you select the drive to install, select "Load Driver" and browse to the files you extracted to the USB drive. Try the VMD folder first. If it worked correctly, the drive should show on the drive list.
