My laptop restart manager start new sesstion when i open some program and my laptop got slow.

My laptop will slow after I open some program and the log show that the restart manager start new sesstion and after that despite I closed that program or not my laptop will slow untill I restart it. Then, if I don't restart for a while my laptop will lag too much and cannot do anything untill I restart it.

Program that I facing now are three game "Genshin impact" "Hokai Star rail" and "Civilization VI".

It's so annoying that I need to restart everytime I open it and another thing I do while I open it is so slow.

Can someone have solution on this ? I try finding everywhere but got nothing.

Restart manager will start a new session whenever a new apps start, so I don't think it is the root cause here. Your description matches a memory leak, so can you first check your RAM usage after you turn on, play and then close the game?

For this kind of slowdown on Windows 11 after opening specific programs, use this troubleshooting path:

Restart the PC first
- Go to Start > Power > Restart.
- A restart performs a full boot cycle and is the first step when the system becomes slow or unstable.
Check for Windows updates
- Go to Start > Settings > Windows Update.
- Select Check for updates and install all available updates.
- This is especially important when the issue starts after launching apps or games and the system remains slow until restart.
Check Device Manager for driver problems
- Right-click Start and select Device Manager.
- Look for any device with an exclamation mark (!).
- Right-click the affected device and select Update driver.
- If updating does not help, try Disable or Uninstall for the affected device.
- Since the issue happens when opening games, graphics-related devices are important to check.
Make sure there is enough free disk space
- Windows needs free space for swap files and normal operation.
- Keep about 10% to 15% of the drive free.
