    Hello @Admin Account

AVD session freezing can be caused by several factors, including the client, network/transport path, session host resource pressure, or the RDP connection itself, so we’ll need a bit more information to narrow it down.

    Could you please confirm:

    • Are both users experiencing the freezing at approximately the same time?
    • Are they connecting through the Windows App, Remote Desktop client, or web client?
    • When the session freezes, does it recover automatically, or do they have to disconnect/reconnect?
    • Are both users connecting to the same AVD session host?
    • Did this start recently, and were there any Windows/client/network changes before it started?

As a quick isolation test, when the issue occurs, check whether the session host itself remains responsive and whether CPU, memory, and disk utilization spike. Azure Virtual Desktop Insights can help correlate those metrics with the affected sessions. Microsoft also recommends using Connection Network Data to investigate latency and network-related session quality issues.

If you're using RDP Shortpath/UDP, also check the connection transport and whether there are Shortpath errors such as ShortpathTransportNetworkDrop or ShortpathTransportReliabilityThresholdFailure. Microsoft provides specific troubleshooting guidance for these conditions.

Please share the answers above, along with the session host Windows version and AVD client version, and we can narrow down whether this is host-, client-, or network-related.
