How to prevent a Microsoft Edge popup opening every time I start to sign on to my AOL account.

Try these checks in order:

3. Block third-party cookies.
   • In Settings, go to Cookies and site permissions.
   • Open Manage and delete cookies and site data.
   • Turn on Block third-party cookies.
4. Clear the browser cache.
   • Clear browsing data in Edge, then test the AOL sign-in again.
5. Make sure Edge is up to date.
   • Open Settings > About Microsoft Edge.
   • If an update is available, let it install and restart Edge.
6. Scan the device for malware.
   • The documented guidance recommends scanning the device for malware if pop-ups continue.

If the pop-ups appear only when opening AOL, they may also be related to the website itself rather than Edge. If pop-ups continue after the steps above, website advertisements made to look like pop-ups cannot be blocked by the Microsoft Edge pop-up blocker.
