Calendar entries are missing prior to 1 January 2026. We have not done anything and the entries can no longer be viewed on the web. We have used the calendar for over 6 years now and never experienced anything like this before.

    Hello Jobs TCMS,

I understand how concerning it is to lose several years of calendar history.

    Could you confirm:

    • Is this your main Outlook.com calendar or a shared/imported calendar?
    • Are the appointments in Deleted Items or Recover items deleted from this folder?
    • Do they appear in another Outlook app or device?
    • Was there any account, calendar, or synchronization change around January 2026?

The exact January 1 cutoff is unusual, so I would not assume this is simply a browser display issue or a confirmed Microsoft-wide problem.

If the entries are missing everywhere and cannot be recovered, use Help in Outlook.com, then select Still need help? > Yes so Outlook.com support can review the account-side calendar data.

Start by treating this as an Outlook/Outlook.com calendar visibility or item-loss issue, not as a confirmed Microsoft service issue.

The supported checks from the available guidance are:

    1. Make sure the calendar is not just hidden. In Outlook.com Calendar, expand the left calendar pane and verify the checkbox beside the main calendar is selected.
    2. Change the calendar view. If the calendar suddenly looks different or smaller, switch the view at the top of Calendar to Day, Work week, Week, or Month.
    3. Check for deleted items. Open Deleted Items in Outlook.com and look for the missing calendar appointments.
    4. Check recoverable items. If the appointments are not in Deleted Items, use Recover items deleted from this folder and restore any available calendar items.
    5. Test in another browser or device. If the entries are still missing on the web, check whether the same appointments appear from another browser or another device.
    6. Sign out, clear browser cache, close all browser windows, and sign in again. This helps rule out a browser-side display problem.

If the entries are missing on Outlook on the web across browsers and devices, and they are not in Deleted Items or recoverable items, the available guidance does not confirm a Microsoft-wide issue. It indicates the next step is to use Outlook.com support so the account-side calendar data can be reviewed.
